Iraq's Mar oil exports surge to 71.827m barrels

(MENAFN) The Iraqi Oil Ministry said that last month, the country's crude oil exports grew to 71.827 million barrels, recording the highest level in almost 32 years, reported Xinhua News. The ministry added that in the month, the average crude oil exports reached 2.317 million barrel per day (bpd), with an average selling price of USD118 per barrel. It also said that revenues from oil exports exceeded USD8.4 billion in March. Moreover, the growth in oil exports was attributed to the new floating oil terminal, which was constructed in February in the south of Iraq. It is worth noting that Iraq shipped 59.427 million barrels of crude oil through the southern port of Basra in March, whereas the rest were exported through Turkey's Ceyhan port on the Mediterranean Sea.
