UAE and Cape Verde open skies to each other

(MENAFN) The Republic of Cape Verde and the UAE signed an Air Services Agreement (ASA) and an Air Services Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Dubai, reported Khaleej Times. The two delegations were represented by Omar bin Ghaleb, the Deputy Director General of the UAE General Aviation Authority (GCAA), and the President of the Board of the Cape Verde Civil Aviation Authority, Carolos Alberto Monteiro. The agreement outlined that their designated airlines could make any number of scheduled flights. The UAE has outlined its designated airlines, but Cape Verde has not outlined their own yet. They also agreed on full route flexibility, aircraft make and capacity flexibility, and type of carrier whether it be cargo or passenger flexibility under the terms of the agreement. The UAE currently has ASA's with 147 countries, and 107 of those countries have signed open skies agreements with them.
