Oman's crude output down to 27.7m barrels in June

(MENAFN) Oman's crude oil output saw a fall by more than 4 percent in June, the sultanate's news agency ONA cited the Ministry of Oil & Gas. The ministry's monthly report showed that the sultanate's crude output levels declined to 27.7 million barrels, 4.1 percent down from 28.8 million barrels during May. The official report also said that Oman's crude exports last month totaled 23.3 million barrels, up from 22 million barrels in the previous month. The majority of the Gulf state's oil exports were directed to Asian markets, led by China and Japan. The drop in Oman's oil output came as Brent crude prices dropped significantly last month to an average of USD95.77 per barrel.
