    Oman reports 4.1% growth in June's oil output

    (MENAFN) The Omani Ministry of Oil and Gas stated that the Sultanate's crude and oil condensers production went up 4.1 percent last month to around 27.7 million barrels, reported Kuwait News Agency. The ministry said that the volume of exported crude reached around 23.3 million barrels in the month, whereas in May, the country exported 22.65 million barrels. Most of the country's oil exports were shipped to Asian countries, with China importing 48 percent, followed by Japan with 21 percent. It is worth noting that in June, oil prices fell when compared with May, with the average price of the American crude price at New York-Chicago bourse reaching USD82.58 per barrel, posting a decline of USD12.37 per barrel from May.
