EgyptAir to fly again after reaching deal with cabin crew

(MENAFN) EgyptAir is set to resume international flights from Cairo, after they were suspended for almost a day, after reaching a deal with cabin crew who had gone on strike over pay and conditions, Arabian Business reported. An airline official said an adviser to President Mohamed Mursi had helped agree with cabin crew employees to end the strike at the national carrier after vowing to meet demands. A spokesman for the cabin crew, Tamer al-Sioufi, said the strike was called off after a deal was reached, warning of a possible second strike if their demands were not fully implemented. The airlines said it had organized six international flight departures during the hours of the strike using crews of private airlines. Domestic flights were not affected by the strike.
