    Emirates receives 2 new A380s, 1 Boeing 777-300

    (MENAFN) Emirates Airline's executive vice-president of Engineering and Operations, Adel al Redha, stated that the carrier has received 2 new A380s and a Boeing 777-300, reported Arabian Business. Al Redha said that with the new delivery, Emirates will have 25 Airbus A380 and 78 Boeing 777-300, adding that the new planes will serve the carrier's network right away. He noted that the A380s are specially deployed on high-density routes, where further capacity is required. The company's fleet of A380s serves Amsterdam, Auckland, Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London Heathrow, Manchester, Munich, New York JFK, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto and Melbourne, while Moscow and Singapore will join the carrier's A380 service in December. The airline is the world's largest A380 operator, with 25 A380 aircraft in its fleet currently. It is worth noting that by the end of the current year, Emirates fleet of A380s will grow to 31.
