Air Arabia increases fleet to 31 with two new Airbus A320s

(MENAFN) Sharjah-based budget carrier Air Arabia has expanded its fleet to 31 aircraft by receiving two new A320 aircraft from Airbus, Arabian Business reported. The largest low-cost airline in the Middle East has now taken delivery of 13 out of 44 A320 aircraft ordered in 2007, and is expecting to take delivery of another plane by year-end. The delivery of the 44 new aircraft will be completed by 2016, which will take the carrier's fleet up to more than 50 aircraft. Since the beginning of this year, Air Arabia, which has a global network of 80 destinations, has introduced 10 new routes.
