Nissan sales of Patrol in Gulf region surpass 3,500 units in Q3

(MENAFN) Nissan announced that during the third quarter, its sales of the Patrol model in the Gulf region exceeded 3,500 vehicles, marking the highest quarterly sales in the market, reported Arabian Business. The Japanese carmaker said that sales in August soared 89 percent to nearly 1,500 units. The market share of the Patrol grew by 33 percent, reaching 20 percent of the Large Sport Utility Vehicle Segment (SUV-L) in 2012. Nissan Middle East, based in Dubai, supports the sales of Nissan Motor in more than 20 countries across the region, from Libya to Azerbaijan. It is worth noting that Nissan Middle East's managing director, Atsuo Kosaka, said in September that new car sales in the UAE jumped more than 20 percent in the January-August period.
