Etihad Airways to operate new flights to 4 new destinations

(MENAFN) Etihad Airways has announced it will increase frequencies on services to Amman, Cairo, Islamabad and Muscat starting June, reported Arabian Business. The Abu Dhabi airline said services to Muscat will increase from 20 to 23 weekly flights, while it will add four overnight flights per week to its existing double-daily operations to and from Amman. Flights to Cairo will increase from the current 18 weekly services to three times a day while Pakistan's capital city, Islamabad, will see flights increase from seven to nine per week, the carrier said in a statement. Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways' chief strategy and planning officer, said that the Middle East and Indian subcontinent are growing markets for Etihad, as passenger demand, connectivity choice, and frequency enhancements continue to drive business and leisure traffic onto the airline's global network.
