    Dubai's spare parts foreign trade at USD10.07b in 2012

    (MENAFN) Dubai Customs stated that Dubai�s foreign trade of spare parts stood at USD10.07 billion last year, recording a very fast growth, reported Arab News. The official report also showed that the auto spare parts trade figure was up USD2.17 billion from 2009's USD7.9 billion. As for exports and re-exports levels, Saudi Arabia was on the top of the list for the region with an 11 percent share of USD435 million. It is worth noting that executive director of the Roads & Transport Authority Mattar Al-Tayer described Automechanika Dubai as being the biggest exhibition for aftermarket trade in the region as it shows products, services and accessories that improve auto efficiency.
