    Saudi FDI up 9.8% in 2012, y/y

    (MENAFN) Head of research at Jadwa Investment, Fahad Alturki, said that Saudi foreign direct investment (FDI) into countries in the Arab world increased 9.8 percent in 2012 compared to 2011, reported Arab News. Alturki explained that the value of FDI went over USD47 billion last year while it stood at USD42.9 billion 2 years ago. Alturki cited Saudi Arabia being the top investor in Arab states to the fact that the Kingdom enjoys a more stable economic and political stratus compared to many other Arab countries.
