Iraq's oil exports to decline in September due maintenance work

(MENAFN) Iraq is going to start on September maintenance work on the country's southern ports which will decrease the country's crude oil exports to around 400,000-500,000 barrels per day (bpd), reported Arab News. Last month, the country struggled with delayed oil shipments in Kirkuk due repeated pipeline seeps and bad weather which affected the southern port exports negatively to reach 2.328 million bpd, compared to 2.484 million in June. Iraq has reached its ever-high exports of 2.62 million bpd last November, notinh that the country has set plans to hit 6 million bpd oil exports after the crisis it has been through.
