    Saudi Arabia records highest inflation in GCC

    (MENAFN) Oman's National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) reported that Saudi Arabia recorded the highest inflation rate in the GCC with 3.7 percent, while the second highest was recorded by Bahrain with 3.6 percent. The third was recorded by Qatar with 3.1 percent, according to Saudi Gazette. The consumer monthly price also recorded its highest level with 1.2 percent increase in Oman. The second highest was the Bahraini with 0.8 percent, while Saudi recorded the third with 0.4 percent. The inflation in the economies of the emerging and developing markets would reach 6 percent in 2013 compared to 1.5 percent in the developed economies.
