South Sudan to borrow USD1.6 billion

(MENAFN) The Sudanese Finance Minister, Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, reported yesterday that South Sudan is considering borrowing about USD1.6 billion to fund its budget, according to The Peninsula Qatar. Sabuni said that the government wanted to raise USD 2.38 billion in oil revenues as oil production declined 50 percent.
