    Oman's economy to grow by 5.2 percent next year

    (MENAFN) Due to the start of natural gas production and the opening of a new airport in Muscat, Oman's GDP is set to grow at 5.2 percent in 2018, which will be the strongest growth since 2008, according to a new report by property consultants Cluttons has said.

    The strongest growth rate since 2015, will help steady the country's property market, research said.

    Omar Bushahab, CEO of the Business Registration and Licensing sector at Dubai Economy, the nodal agency handling the transition said, "The standards will enhance competitiveness within groceries, increase service quality in the retail sector, ensure an exceptional shopping experience for consumers and strengthen Dubai's position as a shopping destination regionally and globally".

    "The city is striving to meet the needs of the various segments of its society in line with its reputation as a commercial hub and preferred place to live", he added.
