Dubai: 'best Wi-Fi' access list includes Emirates
(MENAFN) Emirates has been included among thirteen airlines that provide 100% WiFi access on board in the Routehappy 2018 WiFi Report.
Satellite-based broadband services are those that are recognized as the "best Wi-Fi", for instance, systems which ViaSat Inc. and Gogo Inc. offer.
Chief Executive Officer Robert Albert declared those kinds of new systems to have contributed with an "extraordinary" growth of 129%.
Routehappy's director of airline research Jason Rabinowitz explained "airlines are quickly moving away from older Wi-Fi systems that provided little utility at extremely high prices. It is now likely that Wi-Fi at 32,000 feet may be cheaper and faster than the Wi-Fi at many airports."
