Iraq promised to receive USD30bn from donors for reconstruction process
(MENAFN) Iraq has received numerous promises from investors, global funds, organizations and government to allocate billions in loans as well as investment for the country's reconstruction process.
By the end of the international conference in Kuwait, donors were revealed to be investing USD30 billion in Iraq.
Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled Al-Sabah confirmed "the commitment of the international community at the conference was clear."
He declared promises of investments in Iraq to have come from 76 countries, hundreds of investors, and countless global funds and organizations.
