Jordan's foreign reserves records 1.5 percent boost

(MENAFN) Jordan's foreign exchange reserves were found in Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) data to have seen a 1.5 percent boost in January, from the end of last year.

By the end of January, foreign reserves have settled at USD12.44 billion from the end of last year's USD12.25 billion.

Even when a number of foreign currency's sources witness an increase over the last year, external donations have decreased, as suggested in Jordan's Petra news agency report.

The report also showed a 15 percent decline in foreign grants last year, with the overall of 2018 foreign aid standing at USD3.6 billion.
