    Israel hits USD4.29bn in trade deficit of goods

    (MENAFN) Israel has reached USD4.29 billion in its goods trade deficit, with the exception of diamonds, hitting a bigger trade deficit during January and February of this year.

    The Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel has released new data that found the figure in comparison to 2017's USD8.8 billion deficit.

    Israel has recorded a 0.67 percent drop in its exports of goods, not including diamonds, during the first two months of 2018 in comparison to last year.

    The country however reported a 15.9 percent year-on-year boost in its imports of goods, not including diamonds.
