Oman to launch second training facility for oilfield
(MENAFN) Oman was declared to be preparing to launch its second top oilfield training institution in its capital, after it opened its major Oman Oil & Gas Institute (instOG) a month ago.
The Innovation Park Muscat Muscat (IPM) was announced to be soon having the Takatuf-Petrofac Oman (TPO) unveiled in it.
TPO was explained to be set in cooperation with Takatuf Oman, the human capital solutions provider owned by Oman Oil Company, as well as Petrofac, the UK's international oil and gas engineering services provider.
Oman Oil Company's CEO Isam al Zadjali stated "this is a world-class institute that will support the training of technicians and operators not only for various projects that are currently in the pipeline, but will also support the training needs of operators and others."
