Jordan hosts key conference for financial technology
(MENAFN) Jordan was declared to be currently hosting a global conference on financial technology, as it welcomed over 100 international policymakers and regulators.
The Financial Technology (FinTech) Policy Forum was explained to have been prepared with the cooperation of both the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) as well as the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI).
It was said to have paid special attention to developing regulatory models along with the most recent advancements in areas that are related to financial technology.
CBJ Governor Ziad Fariz also unveiled during the opening ceremony the introduction of a new "regulatory sandbox", a secure spot that allows businesses to test developed products and technologies that involve financial technology.
