Kuwait, SNC-Lavlin ink deal on services delivery
(MENAFN) Kuwait Petroleum Corp. was reported to have inked an agreement with SNC-Lavalin Group Inc for the supply of several services.
The suite of services were explained in a report by oil&gasjournal.com to be in relation to the grassroots 615,000-b/d Al-Zour integrated refining complex which is being established in southern Kuwait.
SNC-Lavalin, under the USD180 million agreement, is to provide commissioning management support services, along with arrangement and delivery of training, documentation, and competency development consultancy services for the refinery.
SNC-Lavalin is to also handle commissioning technical services, such as master plan, startup program development, risk assessment and management, commissioning management support, operations readiness and assurance, and project phase execution activities.
