    Iran posts 25.1 percent jump in saffron exports

    (MENAFN) Iran has reportedly recorded an increase in the value of its saffron exports by 25.1 percent during the first four months of this year.

    EghtesadOnline also reported Iran to have reached around USD98.35 million in the exports to an overall of 49 countries of more than 70.8 tons.

    The UAE alone was confirmed to have accounted for USD31.64 million of saffron exports, marking it as Iran's key exporter.

    The UAE is followed by China, amounting for USD20 million, then Spain with USD16.54 million, Afghanistan with USD9.74 million, and Vietnam with USD8.8 million.
