Iran discusses new nuclear power plant construction with Russia
(MENAFN) Iran was unveiled to be discussing with Russia the establishment of a new nuclear power plant which holds a production capacity of 3,000 MW of electricity.
The news has been announced by Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian, as reported Tasnim news agency.
The Iranian minister confirmed his country's ability to provide electricity to be increased to 4,000 MW from 1,000 MW as soon as the power plant is launched.
It comes after Iran and Russia begun setting up the second unit of the Bushehr nuclear power plant in September in 2016.
