Israel central bank maintains 0.1 percent for base interest rate

(MENAFN) The Israeli central bank was unveiled to have maintained the base interest rate at 0.1 percent for the following six weeks.

However, Jewish national holidays in Israel are to cause a postponement to the upcoming interest rate resolution by two weeks.

The decision was made based on the growing inflation accompanied with low interest rate policy, as explained the Monetary Committee of the Bank of Israel.

The country's annual is now at the lower end of the target the government decided on between 1 and 4 percent.
