Brazil invests USD1.2bn in economic ties with Iran
(MENAFN) Tasnim news agency reported USD1.2 billion to have been invested by Brazil to strengthen its economic relations with Iran.
The news has been announced by Brazilian ambassador to Tehran Rodrigo de Azeredo Santos on Sunday, as reported the agency.
The envoy affirmed Brasilia's commitment to stick by economic cooperation with Tehran, despite the US re-imposed sanctions.
The statement has been made by Santos during a meeting held on Sunday with the presence of the head of Iran-Brazil Chamber of Commerce Kaveh Zargaran along with several top officials.
