    Lebanon's Gulf arrivals sharply increase

(MENAFN) The Lebanese Investment Business Committee affirmed that the country recorded a sharp boost in the number of arrivals from the Gulf during the summer season.

The news has been unveiled on Sunday by secretary of LIBC Rabih El-Amine, as the National News Agency reported.

The LIBC secretary announced that "the number of Gulf tourists in Lebanon surpassed 50,000 this summer."

The increase of Gulf visitors has been driven by the high quality of services Lebanon provides, along with the sense of security and stability, Amine explained according to the tourists.

He further added "however, this only constitutes 10 percent of the figures registered in 2013."
