Iraq's revived Baghdad-Fallujah railway brings progress

(MENAFN) Iraq's reopened railway between Baghdad and Fallujah was affirmed to have presented an indication of progress as it spreads across the western Iraqi desert.

The railway connects the western desert with scenery of burned-out tanks, abandoned vehciles and collapsed buildings.

Captain Imed Hassun voiced how he was proud of driving between the capital and the former Islamic State group stronghold.

The driver with a 30-year-long career stressed "I didn't think that a train would come back here again."
