Morocco becomes leading automotive hub in Africa
(MENAFN) Morocco was announced as the most leading automotive hub in Africa, snatching the status from South Africa.
The Wall Street Journal also forecast Morocco in an article to become the manufacturer of a greater number of vehicles than Italy per year.
The article is expecting Morocco to turn into a key auto parts supplier for European auto factories, such as Ford Motor's high-tech plant in Valencia.
It further added that Renault established a couple of assembly plants in Morocco over the last five years with a production capacity of over 200,000 vehicles per year.
