Morocco to boost public services 2019 funding
(MENAFN) Morocco's government reached a resolution to boost its financing for public services in its 2019 draft budget.
The Moroccan government is aiming through its decision to see a decline in social differences while the country suffers from unprecedented demonstrations.
The draft budget for next year was revealed to be setting aside a huge amount of funds to areas including education, health services, and vulnerable social portions.
The government of Morocco decided to allocate next year USD6.8 billion for education, a USD540 million boost from this year's budget.
The government will also invest USD1.63 billion in the health sector, a USD160 million surge compared to this year.
The government's budget is also ready to set aside USD1.76 billion on subsidies of wheat, cooking gas and sugar, a USD465 million compared to this year.
