Qatar, Oman to deepen education ties
(MENAFN) Qatar has reportedly reached an agreement with Oman to strengthen their cooperation in areas of education and scientific research.
The agreement was secured during talks between Qatari Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed al Hammadi Omani Minister of Education Madiha bint Ahmed al Shibaniyah.
It comes after the two Gulf countries penned a memorandum of understanding on June for cooperation in education and science.
The MoU covers the training of researchers along with collaborative exhibitions, seminars and scientific forums.
