Lebanese carrier plans to launch 15 new aircrafts

(MENAFN) Lebanon's Middle East Airlines was reportedly announced to be targeting the introduction of fifteen new aircrafts by 2021.

The news was declared by the chairman of the Lebanese national carrier, Mohammad Al Hout, as reported Elnashra.

The chair revealed: "we will add 15 of the most modern aircrafts to our fleet which will include internet service and all the necessary requirements for a comfortable trip."

Al Hout further noted that the income the carrier will see by the end of this year is to be lower compared to last year's profit.

He explained that the expected decline is to be driven by the hikes on fuel oil prices, as well as the bad condition seen in the airport.
