Jordan, Iraq agree on steps for industrial zone construction
(MENAFN) Jordan and Iraq sketched out the necessary practical measures for the construction of a joint industrial zone along their border.
The steps were set out between Tareq al-Hammouri, Jordan's Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and Saleh al-Jabouri, Iraq's Minister of Industry and Minerals.
The two Jordanian and Iraqi ministers agreed on a comprehensive plan for the implementation of the steps to construct the joint industrial zone.
The two countries are looking to strengthen their economic relations on all levels through the planned joint industrial zone.
The minister also assured that all the needed procedures are efficient for the execution of the industrial zone.
