    Libya hits USD3.5b in oil exports to China

    (MENAFN) Libya was found to have doubled its exports of oil to China within this year, compared to its exports last year.

    The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) confirmed the country to have exported USD3.5 billion worth of oil to China this year.

    NOC Chairman Mustafa Sanalla stressed that he was "rightly proud of our growing relations with China, and look forward to enhancing and broadening them further to serve the common interests of both the Libyan and Chinese oil sectors."

    The statement was made by the chairman in Libya while speaking to the Charge d'Affaires of China.

    The figure comes in comparison to the figure recorded last year, as Libya exported USD1.7 billion worth of oil to China.
