Emirates orders 128 high tech buses

(MENAFN) Dubai-based airline Emirates ordered new high technology buses, aiming to improve the experience of its passengers.

The UAE airline investment in the fleet for airside operations was made for easing arrival, departure or transit at Dubai international Airport.

The airline is to receive 30 new buses of the 128 in January 2019, with ten of them already operational, awaiting for the whole fleet to be delivered by 2020.

"In line with our Fly Better brand promise, Emirates has taken the decision to invest in our own customised buses to transport customers airside at our Dubai airport hub," stated executive vice president and chief operations officer Adel Al Redha.

"Together with our latest transport management system, these new buses will enable us to provide our valued customers with a more comfortable ride and smoother connections," Al Redha added.
