Jordan to implement income tax bill next year

(MENAFN) The Jordanian income tax law was declared to be implemented starting next year, imposing a 20 percent income tax hike on the industrial field.

The controversial income tax law was approved on Sunday in a Royal Decree, enabling boosts on the industrial sector's taxes.

It comes after the Jordanian parliament already granted its green-light for the controversial bill a week ago, supporting a series of fiscal reforms in the Kingdom.

The bill exempts houses which their earnings do not exceed USD28,189 U.S. dollars a year next year, and 18,000 dinars in 2020.
