Kuwait's Agility seeks raising USD800m for expansion

(MENAFN) Kuwait-based logistics firm Agility was announced to have entered negotiations with banks on an USD800 million in debt to be collected.

The talks have been launched while the Kuwaiti logistics giant seeks to see expansion in its business, with efforts to develop its warehouse capacity abroad.

The CEO of Agility Tarek Sultan confirmed that the talks are being made with several local and international banks, including HSBC and Standard Chartered.

Sultan further added that "the financial department is now starting to deal with the details and if it sees that the bonds have an advantage, we will resort to bonds, but so far there is no final decision."
