    Libya hits USD24.2b in oil, gas revenue in 2018

    (MENAFN) Libya was announced to have recorded a decline in its revenue of oil and gas in November, reaching USD2.4 billion compared to its USD2.87 billion revenue in the previous month.

    However, Libya's oil and gas revenue throughout the whole year stood at USD24.2 billion, registering a 76 percent jump.

    The Libyan state oil company NOC confirmed the country to be generating around 1.15 million barrels of oil a day.

    NOC Chairman Mustafa Sanalla affirmed that "NOC will continue to drive the economic recovery and provide the funds necessary to ensure a fair distribution of wealth and economic justice across the country."
