Egypt to see investment boost after Mercedes-Benz come back
(MENAFN) Egypt is expected to see development in its investment sector through a resolution Mercedes-Benz reached to recommence manufacturing and assembling lines in the country.
The statement was made by Hanan Fathy, Egyptian head of economic unit at the al-Hewar Center for Political and Media Studies, during an interview with Xinhua.
Following a four-year suspension, the German carmaker confirmed a decision to launch an assembly plant within Egypt.
Fathy stated: "the move is very important as it reflects the trust of such a big company in the Egyptian economy which has been rapidly developing."
