    Second IMF Jordanian economy assessment begins

    (MENAFN) The second assessment of the Jordanian economy is set to be launched by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Sunday.

    Jordan's Ministry of Finance announced in an email statement the review to be carried out within a USD700 million Extended Fund Facility.

    Under the process, the IMF mission is to enter Jordan talks for two weeks with a number of officials, consisting of figures at the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank of Jordan.

    It comes as part of a review on fiscal reforms Jordan launched along with measures under a deal between the Kingdom and the IMF.
