Israel, Italy explore deeper economic ties
(MENAFN) Israel and Italy were revealed to have explored ways to strengthen their cooperation in various areas, mainly in economy.
Talks were held in Jerusalem between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Italian Foreign Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi.
Both sides "discussed bilateral cooperation in technology, innovation and industry," unveiled the Prime Minister's Office in a statement.
According to the statement, the officials further shed light on the East Med natural gas pipeline, which is to see the exports of Israel gas through Cyprus and Greece to Europe.
