Saudi Arabia, Japan complete industrial training program

(MENAFN) Saudi engineers have ended an industrial training program jointly coordinated by the Kingdom and Japan as part of a long-term strategic partnership between the two countries.

Arab News revealed that around 100 engineers from 25 companies participated in two in-depth training sessions in Riyadh and Dammam.

The Saudi Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources arranged the program with the support of the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and organizations including the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME).

Khalid Al-Salem, the ministry's undersecretary, handed completion certificates to the engineers in the presence of Sitso Amori, deputy chief of the Japanese mission, and Abdul Karim Tomioka, JCCME acting president in Saudi Arabia.
