Egypt hits USD163b in foreign cash inflows

(MENAFN) Egypt recorded a 5.5 percent jump of the gross domestic product (GDP) in its foreign cash inflows during the second quarter of the 2018-19 fiscal year.

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli unveiled over USD163 billion to have been generated in the foreign cash inflows for the past three years.

Foreign exchange reserves, the prime minister revealed while addressing the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS) 2019 conference, hit USD42 billion from USD15 billion.

Efforts by the Egyptian government to build up a better future and satisfy the people's demands were not affected by ongoing issues, added Madbouli.
