Jordanian, Saudi firms cooperate on startups
(MENAFN) Jordan's startup accelerator Accelerators and Propeller Inc. penned a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Saudi Arabia's Badir Program for Technology Incubators.
Under the agreement, the two Saudi and Jordanian sides will strengthen collaboration on start-up companies between the two countries.
Both sides, as per the deal, will back technology startups by establishing an appropriate atmosphere for activities within the local market among other services.
"Our partnership with Propeller Inc. is a step in line with the strategy of the Badir Program that allows us to share our respective ecosystems through joint initiatives and activities to support the growth of startups, locally and regionally," stated Badir Program CEO Nawaf Al Sahhaf.
CEO of Propeller Tambi Jalouqa also said "the strategic partnership with Badir Program will give Propeller-incubated startups access to Saudi Arabia's market, network and investors, propelling their reach and growth in the wider region."
