Iran, Armenia to boost ICT collaboration
(MENAFN) Iran explored with Armenia means to strengthen their collaboration in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Discussions were held between Iranian ICT Minister Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi and his Armenian counterpart Hakob Arshakyan on the sidelines of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum 2019.
Both sides will be cooperating on ICT areas consisting of telecommunication, international network, startups and scientific accomplishments.
It comes one month following the signing of a deal between the Iranian Telecommunication Infrastructure Company, Armenian and Qatari firms on the transport of data from the Persian Gulf to the Europe.
