    Iran achieves USD200m in hygiene, related goods exports

    (MENAFN) Iran was reported by Eghtesadonline news website to have stood at USD200 million in its exports of detergents, cleansers, hygienic and cellulose commodities.

    Compared to these figures registered during the past Iranian year ending March 20, Iran is forecast for a boost to reach USD300 million for this year.

    Deputy Minister of Industries, Mining and Trade Mohsen Salehinia unveiled: "hygiene and related products account for 5 percent of the added value generated by Iran's industries."

    Key importers of Iranian detergents, cleansers, hygiene and cellulose include Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan as well as some European countries and Gulf nations, confirmed head of the Association of Iran Hygiene and Toiletries Industries Bakhtiyar Alambeigi.
