Palestine urges check on Israel's deduction of Palestinian tax incomes

(MENAFN) On Monday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammed Ishtaye urged the EU and the World Bank to form a group to check Israel's deduction of Palestinian tax incomes.

"Most of the deductions of our tax revenues are unfair, all of which are unaudited and performed without any transparency," Ishtaye affirmed during the weekly meeting of his cabinet in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

He added that the Israeli deduction is "illegal and its purpose is to condemn our children in the Israeli occupation prisons".

Israeli reports emphasized that Israel transferred 660 million Israeli new shekels (USD184.6 million) to the Palestinian Authority to avoid its economic collapse.
