    Iraqi PM to visit Turkey to boost trade cooperation

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday, Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi will visit Turkey and encounter with President Tayyip Erdogan.

    Both leaders plan to confer issues related to increase the trade volume between the two countries from USD10 billion to more than USD20 billion, as well as they are planning to discuss the PKK influence in the Sinjar region of Iraq, in addition to the new border crossing to be established between both nations.

    Turkish and Iraqi high-ranking officials will confer ways to boost the trade volume between the two countries.

    After the visit of the Iraqi prime minister, a Turkish delegation chaired by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan will join the Turkey-Iraq Business Forum in Baghdad.
