34 percent jump in Omani non-oil exports

(MENAFN) Oman recorded last year a 34 percent jump in its non-oil exports following a considerable boost in the Sultanate's trade with Gulf nations.

During the first quarter of 2018, the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) unveiled, non-oil exports in Oman stood at RO3.864 billion.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), based on data, is still the largest trading partner for Oman with a 12 percent surge in trade.

Meanwhile Omani exports to Saudi Arabia reached RO493 million to increase nearly 11 percent during the period.
