Anti-NTBs online portal introduced in S. Sudan
(MENAFN) South Sudan announced the launch of an online portal that was designed with a purpose to wipe out a range of non-tariff barriers (NTBs).
This launch comes as part of efforts to facilitate trade along with accelerating the delivery of humanitarian assistance.
The integrated online portal is the first ever online tool involving trade to be introduced in South Sudan, affirmed Undersecretary for East African Community (EAC) Mou Mou Athian.
According to the official, the portal will be offering data related to institutions and mechanisms aimed at abolishing NTBs.
"It is designed as the virtual center that provides information on national, regional and international themes related to the elimination of NTBs," Athian added.
